Lower Providence Rod and Gun Club

Lower Providence Rod and Gun Club operates as a private members-only facility in Audubon, Pennsylvania, with dedicated ranges and programs for archery, pistol, rifle, and trap shooting. While membership is required for most activities, the club opens specific events to the public.

Meets the first Monday at 7:00 PM. The club runs:

• •3D archery shoots (2nd Sunday, June–September, 7–11 AM) — open to the public
• •Indoor winter league (Mondays 6:30–8:00 PM, September–March)
• •Youth classes (Wednesdays 6:30–7:30 PM) — all skill levels
• •Adult instruction (Wednesdays 7:30–8:30 PM)
• •S3DA team (Thursdays 6:30 PM)
• •USA Archery-sanctioned 18-meter indoor 40cm shoots in a heated and air-conditioned range, winter and summer

Meets second Tuesday at 7:30 PM. Monthly events include USPSA, IDPA, pistol refresher courses, and range qualification. The club also hosts:

• •Steel League Matches (throughout the year)
• •NRA First Steps Pistol and Basic Pistol certification
• •Personal Protection Inside/Outside the Home courses
• •Junior Pistol (1st and 3rd Mondays)

Meets fourth Tuesday at 7:00 PM. Offerings include monthly rifle refreshers, NRA Basic Rifle, Junior Rifle, Revere's Riders, and a Carbine Rifle program. The club has produced state champions and Olympic trial participants.

Meets third Wednesday at 7:30 PM. Practice shoots run Friday nights 5:00–7:00 PM and Wednesday nights 5:00 PM (mid-March through mid-November, members and invited guests only). Public trap shoots are held at Friday night sessions with 16-yard singles, handicap, and doubles events.

General membership meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM in the clubhouse. Monthly work parties (2nd Saturday, 8 AM–noon) are required for membership status. Online membership renewals are available; dues season runs November 1–October 31 annually.

The club maintains active competitive teams and has produced state champions in rifle and trap disciplines.
