Full description and what we offer
The Murrysville District Sportsmen's Association—also known as the Murrysville Gun Club and Murrysville Rifle Club—was the first sportsman's club established in Murrysville. What started over 80 years ago remains unchanged in mission: make a positive impact on the community through safe, responsible shooting sports.
The club maintains serious shooting infrastructure:

All ranges are available to members during posted hours: Monday-Friday 8am-dusk, Saturday 9am-dusk, Sunday 10am-dusk.
Membership ($100/year, due in June) includes gate access and unlimited range use. But the club does far more than provide targets and benches:
Youth safety and marksmanship programs are open to everyone in the community—club membership not required.
The club roster includes members with professional-level expertise in safety and marksmanship. Individual training requests welcome—just contact leadership.
Hunter Trapper-Education courses (required for first-time hunting license) are scheduled through the Pennsylvania Game Commission. No fee. All-day format (8am-4:30pm with lunch break). Classes:
The Junior Rifle Team meets Monday evenings for practice. New shooters welcome—no experience necessary, safety training included. Not required to be a club member.

The club asks members to contribute time to maintenance and programs when possible—this keeps dues lower and strengthens the community. No work days or meetings required, but participation builds the "club" feel.
