Charleston Archery

Charleston Archery brings certified instruction to the Lowcountry with a focus on helping archers of all levels hit their goals—whether that's relaxation, fitness, or competition.

Anna Ruggiero leads the program as a Level 3 USA Archery certified coach. She's not just an instructor—she's a competitive archer holding multiple National Field Archery Association state titles. Her background includes nine years coaching a NASP (National Archery in the Schools Program) team and restoring archery programs at Girl Scout camps that had been discontinued.

All instructors are USA Archery certified, background checked, and SafeSport trained.

New Archers – $65 (55 minutes) First time? They provide all equipment and teach fundamentals. Available at Johns Island, Summerville, or your home.

Returning Archers – $50 (55 minutes) Private or semi-private with family/friends. Build on what you already know.

Young Archers (9 & under) – $40 (40 minutes) Shorter session designed for younger students. Available at Summerville location.

Intermediate Archer Tune-Up – $75 (75 minutes) For archers whose accuracy has slipped or form got rusty. This is the deep-dive session where they use video analysis to show exactly how your form affects your shot. Covers shot cycle evaluation, modifications for improvement, training tips, goal setting, and mental management. Bring your own bow and arrows (BYOB&A).
