CJ Archery Academy

CJ Archery Academy operates under Head Coach Hongeun Jang, who brings serious credentials: 25 years of competitive archery, 10 years as an Olympic recurve coach, and USA Archery Level 4 NTS (National Training System) certification as of 2025. Jang previously served as Assistant Coach at HSS Sports Academy and was a shooting instructor for the R.O.K. Marine Corps. He's also the President of the Korean-American Archery Association Texas Region.

Assistant Coach Jorrin Song, an Olympic recurve archer since 2010 and member of the 2018 Junior US Archery Team, works alongside Jang to develop both technique and competitive mindset.

CJ Archery Academy became the first archery club in the US to introduce Arrovel, marketed as the safest archery system in the world. This makes them the go-to place for young archers starting as early as age 4.

Students have already proven competitive chops. At the Texas State Championship in Houston, two CJ Archery Academy students earned bronze medals: one in the U15 boys division after just 10 months of training, and another in the U13 girls division. One student also placed 4th at the Indoor State Championship after only 4 months of training.
