Houston Archery Lessons operates inside West Houston Archery with 12 indoor lanes dedicated entirely to teaching. This family-owned business is run by James Loesch, a Level III USA Archery certified instructor who has been teaching archery since 1986. He's a 13-time National Champion with two NCAA Championships from Arizona State University, and he holds several state and national records in both compound and recurve.
Students range from beginners as young as 6 years old to multi-national champions. James works with:
All equipment is provided in lessons at no extra cost if you don't have your own. Students get access to bows, arrows, tabs, arm guards, and slings—all sanitized before every session. The facility maintains family-friendly protocols and requires appropriate dress (shirt and shoes).
James has trained junior olympians and contributed to dozens of national championships since 2011.
