University (380), featuring covered shooting areas, a 100-yard long-distance range, and a wooded walking course for 3D shooting.
This is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on building archery infrastructure and access. Unlike retail shops, the club reinvests membership dues into range maintenance and expansion.

All new members pay a $100 initiation fee (nonrefundable) that covers member materials, security devices, and target maintenance. Members get:
Range certification for safety is required before accessing some ranges—members shoot a proficiency test at 10 yards to qualify.
Membership is limited, and a waiting list applies when full. The club requires all members to volunteer at least one hour annually in service to the club or archery community.
First-time archers should book a Discover Archery lesson before applying for membership. It's the fastest way to see if archery fits.
Texans Archery Academy runs a ranked progression system for students age 9+. Classes are curriculum-based and include online homework, quizzes, and live shooting requirements:
Each rank has a worksheet to prepare for the online quiz and shooting score. Students can try different equipment styles before buying. Certified instructors teach age-appropriate skills focused on physical development, mental confidence, and leadership.
Program graduates are prepared to: - Try out for JOAD and AAA competitive archery teams - Pursue individual recreational archery - Make informed equipment purchase decisions
Parents are welcome to participate. Safe Sport policies are enforced.
Texas Archery runs year-round tournaments and competitive opportunities:
Major Events: - Texas State Archery Association (TSAA) State Shoot – January 30-February 1 - TFAA SYWAT – February 13-15 - Southern Classic – March. $50 entry, 330 format, pays top 3 placements (50/30/20 split, 70% payout) - Youth Invitational Fundraiser – April.
