Corpus Christi Gun Club is a members-only shooting facility with dedicated ranges for rifle, pistol, and shotgun sports. Whether you're practicing fundamentals or competing, CCGC has the infrastructure and events to support your shooting.

The rifle range features 50, 100, and 200-yard target backers with 16 benches—perfect for precision work. Five pistol caliber and 22LR-only bays handle plinking and training. A 25-stall covered pistol bay with target retrieval system (1-15 yards) is limited to 22LR and pistol caliber firearms. Seven multi-use bays (#6-12) ranging from 30 to 100 yards handle everything in between.

  • Access: Members and escorted guests only. Open daily 7:00 am to sunset (except scheduled maintenance and severe weather).
  • White Flyer targets through Beomat and Pat-Trap machines
  • Shot size restricted to 7½, 8, 8½, or 9
  • Skeet and trap open to members, escorted guests, AND non-members
  • Cost: Members/guests $7.50/round | Non-members $12.00/round | Winter Texans $8.00/round
  • 16-station course designed to replicate Texas coastal plains terrain
  • White Flyer targets through Promatic machines with adjustable presentations
  • Stations include raised shooting positions with wood floors and all-weather cart path
  • Course runs regular sporting (2 machines/station) or super sporting (up to 4 machines/station)
  • Mobile tower with two additional machines for flexibility
  • Cost: Members/guests $.40 per target | Non-members $.55 per target

Open to members, guests, and non-members alongside skeet and trap fields.

All shotgun fields closed Wednesdays 10:30 am–1:30 pm for maintenance. Clubhouse and fields closed Mondays and Fridays.

Matches run almost every Sunday with registration at 9:30 am and start at 10:00 am. Setup for Sunday matches begins Saturday at 3:00 pm (back bays close for setup).

CCGC hosts 15+ annual fundraisers and corporate events throughout the year. The sporting clay course is designed to create engaging presentations that leave shooters feeling like they could hit all targets. The facility offers:

  • Varied target presentations (flushing quail, crossing doves, driven birds, rabbits)
  • Mixed target sizes (standard, midi, battue) and colors (all black, orange, green)
  • True pairs and report pairs
  • Promatic machines with adjustable presentations

Instructors are independent contractors approved by the board.

  • Membership Requirements:
  • Legally able to own a firearm in Texas
  • 18+ years old
  • No felony record
  • Two existing members in good standing as sponsors
  • Attend orientation class
  • $50 initiation fee
  • Annual dues: $210/year (due by 12/31)
  • New Member Path: If you don't know members, visit during skeet/trap hours to shoot with members, or compete in monthly pistol/rifle matches on Sunday mornings. Casual shooting can lead to sponsor relationships.
  • Pro-rating: Join September–December and pay initiation + pro-rata remaining dues + full next year dues.
