Desert Predator Custom

Desert Predator Custom (DPC) specializes in custom builds and modifications—not just repairs. Co-owners Blaine Francisco and Chad Ratcliff both graduated from Murray State College's renowned gunsmithing program and bring multiple specialized degrees to the shop. All staff are also Murray State graduates committed to skilled craftmanship.

Blaine Francisco brings a lifetime of shooting and outdoor experience specific to Southern Utah. Chad Ratcliff came from industry experience working alongside Blaine before pursuing business ownership.

DPC takes on custom work across the full spectrum:

Pricing depends on listed jobs performed, material/part costs, and bench/machine hours. Jobs $500+ require 50% upfront. A daily storage fee applies to firearms left over 14 days.

DPC handles extensive custom finishes—Kryptek patterns (Typhon, Neptune, Mandrake, Kryptek), Gun Candy colors, camo designs, two-tone finishes, and completely custom mixed colors. Gallery shows work on ARs, Glocks, shotguns, and specialty builds.

Accept work from anywhere in the country. Follow federal shipping laws: rifles/shotguns via USPS allowed; handguns require common/contract carrier. They handle return shipping to your home or an FFL of your choice.
