Lee Kay Public Shooting Center is a full-service public shooting range owned and operated by the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources. Located in the Salt Lake Valley at 6000 W 2100 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84128, Lee Kay provides convenient access to world-class shooting facilities for hunters, sport shooters, and archery enthusiasts of all skill levels.
The facility features seven outdoor ranges open year-round, accommodating a wide variety of shooting disciplines:
- •Rifle Range Access - Precision shooting for various rifle calibers
- •Handgun Range Access - Pistol and revolver practice
- •Shotgun Trap Shooting - Traditional trap shooting format
- •Shotgun Skeet Shooting - Dynamic skeet sport shooting
- •Five-Stand Shooting - Comprehensive shotgun course of fire
- •Archery Range - Dedicated archery facilities
- •Muzzleloader Range - Black powder and historical firearm shooting
Beyond recreational shooting, Lee Kay hosts Hunter Education classes and shooting clinics led by experienced instructors. The facility also maintains dog training grounds for hunting dog preparation.
- •Wednesday-Thursday: 10 a.m.–5 p.m. (rifle/handgun); shotgun/archery until 8 p.m. Thursday
- •Friday: 10 a.m.–5 p.m.
- •Saturday: 9 a.m.–4 p.m.
- •Sunday: 9 a.m.–1 p.m.
- •Closed: All state and federal holidays
- •Note: Check in one hour before closing. Some venues may have limited availability.
