Sumner Sportsmen's Club

Sumner Sportsmen's Club is a premier trap and clay shooting facility located in Puyallup, Washington, serving the greater Sumner area and surrounding communities. This member-driven club offers a diverse range of shooting disciplines designed for both recreational shooters and competitive athletes.

The club specializes in multiple clay target sports:

• •Trap Shooting - Traditional trap shooting with standard and meet competitions
• •Sporting Clays - Dynamic course-style shooting through varied terrain and target presentations
• •5 Stand - Fast-paced shotgun sport combining elements of trap, skeet, and sporting clays
• •Meet Shooting - Organized competitive events held Thursday evenings (November-March)
• •Alien Invasion (Glow-in-the-Dark) - Unique blacklight shooting experience at 5 Stand and Trap, making Sumner the first club in Washington to offer this innovative format
• •PITA and Continental Trap - Sanctioned competitive formats for serious competitors

The club maintains consistent weekly operations:

• •Tuesday: 6 PM - 9 PM
• •Thursday: 6 PM - 9 PM (1st, 3rd, 5th); 7 PM - 9 PM Meet Shoots (2nd, 4th, and subsequent Thursdays)
• •Sunday: 12 PM - 4 PM (1st, 3rd, 5th)

Beyond regular club activities, Sumner Sportsmen's Club books the facility for private events and corporate outings. Custom shooting experiences can be arranged by contacting the club directly.

The club actively seeks volunteers for Range Safety Officer (RSO), cashier, and shooting stand duties. No prior experience is necessary—training is provided by experienced club members.
