DEZ Tactical Arms

DEZ Tactical Arms isn't just a range—they design, build, and test rifles in-house. Since 2004, they've manufactured match-grade barrels; they expanded to complete rifles in 2012. Every DEZ rifle gets individually tested for accuracy using their state-of-the-art testing fixture. If it doesn't shoot sub-MOA, it doesn't ship. You get the original target to keep.

How they build: - Single gunsmith assembles each rifle from start to finish (no assembly lines) - Most components manufactured in-house, machined to tight tolerances - U.S. Made materials throughout - 40+ point quality control inspection by the builder, then double-checked by a second professional - Lifetime warranty on every rifle

You can customize your own AR or choose from over a dozen standard models in five different calibers. All components are individually available if you want to build it yourself.

Rental firearms must use ammunition purchased from the range. You can swap firearms during your visit. Everyone 18+ needs government ID or passport; minors 12+ need guardian-signed waivers. Closed-toe shoes required.

Certified NRA and USCCA instructors teach monthly concealed carry certification courses in smaller class sizes—designed so you can actually ask questions. With their range on-site, you get hands-on practice right after instruction.

4-Hour Course Covers: - Personal protection planning - Situational awareness and legal use of force - Self-defense firearm basics and universal safety - Safe storage and unloading procedures - Handgun platform comparisons and ammunition types - Concealment methods: holsters and off-body carry options - Wisconsin concealed carry application process - 33 reciprocating states coverage

No equipment needed. Certificate of Training included for Wisconsin DOJ permit application. $40 application fee due to Wisconsin DOJ at time of submission.

DEZ offers a training curriculum designed for beginners through advanced shooters. Progressive training builds muscle memory through repetition. They work with you to discuss training goals—contact their training manager to schedule a consult.

Located in central Wisconsin, DEZ Tactical manufactures all rifles on-site. The Baraboo facility (opened 2019) houses retail, gunsmithing, and range operations under one roof.
