Ozaukee County Fish & Game

Founded in 1941 as a pheasant hunting club, Ozaukee County Fish & Game has evolved into a full shooting sports facility. The club runs trap leagues, sporting clays competitions, and rifle sight-in events that draw shooters from across the region.

Unlike membership-only clubs, OZCFG opens most of their operations to the public:

• •Trap shooting – Available Tuesday and Thursday nights, 6-9 PM, open 40 weeks per year. A round costs $5.00 (25 targets).
• •5-Stand shooting – Tuesday nights during league season. $8.00 per round (25 targets).
• •Sporting Clays – Walking course with 10 stations depicting realistic hunting scenarios. Runs 9 AM to 3 PM on event days. Variable target types including standard, 60mm, 90mm, rabbits, and Battues.
• •Rifle Sight-in – Two weekends before deer rifle season ($7 per firearm, $10 for black powder). Full bore-sighting and scope verification in the clubhouse, then supervised range work with club experts.

• •Summer Trap League (April–August, Tuesday & Thursday nights)
• •Individual 16 Yards: $10 entry
• •3-person Team 16 Yards: $24 entry
• •5/6-person Team Handicapped: $48 entry
• •Hunt & Cover formats: $24 entry
• •5-Stand competition (Tuesdays): $10 entry

• •Fall Trap League (August–November)
• •Similar formats plus doubles ($10 per 50 targets)
• •Wobbles and handicap yardage options
• •Note: Closed during deer rifle season

The club supports local hunter education, Turkey Mentor Hunt, Pheasants Forever, and Wisconsin Waterfowl Association events. Special Sporting Clays shoots include food fundraisers (chicken & ribs, steak fry).

Refreshments including beer, soda, water, and snacks available at the facility.
