Wisconsin Gun Class operates the Kenosha location of a statewide concealed carry certification program. The classes are built around what you actually need to know before carrying a gun in public—not just how to shoot, but the legal and ethical weight of that decision.

The course breaks into six major blocks:

• •Mindset and Awareness - Personal protection planning, violent crime statistics, situational awareness, and the color codes of awareness. How to observe your environment and plan for home defense.

• •Handgun Fundamentals - Four universal safety rules, clearing handguns safely, ammunition malfunctions, double-action vs. single-action mechanics, and how revolvers and semi-automatics work differently.

• •Shooting Skills - Proper grip, stance, point shooting, sight shooting, flash sight picture, and trigger control. These are basics, but they're taught by someone who understands what actually happens under stress.

• •The Law - Legal definitions of reasonable force and deadly force. Understanding the force continuum. When you can legally use deadly force. Defense in the home versus defending property. This isn't light stuff—it's the difference between legally protecting yourself and facing criminal charges.

• •What Happens After - The physiological reality of the fight-or-flight response. Dealing with police. The immediate legal aftermath. Because shooting someone, even legally, has consequences.

• •Gear - Holster retention, holster types, firearm storage, belts, lights, and lasers. The practical equipment decisions that matter.
