Jondal Gun Company started two years ago on a straightforward mission: provide skilled gunsmithing and honest service to hunters and shooters in Wyoming. They handle everything from basic maintenance to complete custom builds, with hourly rates ranging from $45–$80 per man-hour (or $55–$105 with machine work).
Metal Finishing - Rebluing ($120–$300) - Slow rust bluing/browning ($250–$650) for that traditional patina - Cerakote ($150–$250) for durable, corrosion-resistant finishes - Bead blasting, sandblasting, or wire brush work on stainless
Barrel & Action Work - Headspace checks ($35–$70) - Bore obstruction removal - Semi-auto pistol action jobs ($120–$220) - Complete AR-15 barrel installation ($55–$80)
AR-15 Specialization - Maintenance cleaning ($65–$85) or full rebuild ($120–$150) - Complete upper or lower receiver assembly ($25–$85) - Gas block and gas port work - Trigger and forend installation - Flash hider and buttstock upgrades
Wood Finishing - Hunter finish, gunsmith finish, high-gloss, or spray finishes ($120–$360)
