Cerakote is an industry-leading thin-film ceramic coating that outperforms standard finishes through:

Fiberglass Stock Warning: Fiberglass warps under heat. They don't recommend H Series Cerakote on fiberglass stocks. They'll coat it, but you assume the risk—contact them to discuss.
Tolerance Considerations: Coating both pins and pin holes adds tolerance that may affect fit on tight-fitting firearms like 1911s. They typically mask holes and pins, coating only the ends. Custom fitting after coating is available for an additional charge.
- •Markings & Serial Numbers: Laser-etched markings will be lost during surface prep unless machine engraved or stamped. Machine engravings can be masked at no charge. Per ATF regulations, some manufacturer model numbers and names are masked and won't be coated.
Most projects take 2-4 weeks after receiving your stripped or disassembled piece. This timeline matters when planning custom builds.
