Ben Avery Shooting Facility

Ben Avery Shooting Facility is one of the largest publicly operated shooting ranges in the United States, spanning 1,650 acres in north Phoenix, Arizona. Operated by the Arizona Game & Fish Department, it welcomes over 120,000 shooters annually and holds the distinction of being the first government shooting facility to earn a Five-Star rating from the National Association of Shooting Ranges.

The facility features three distinct shooting areas:

• •Rifle & Pistol Range - Full-service rifle and handgun shooting with multiple firing lines and target distances
• •Clay Target Center - Dedicated shotgun facility offering trap, skeet, and clay target shooting with instruction programs for beginners
• •Outdoor Archery Range - Target and 3D archery courses for all skill levels
