LRK Mechanical isn't your typical gunsmith. This is a team of obsessive custom builders who happen to have a machine shop—not the other way around. The crew includes gunsmiths who've taught at the college level, plus machinists with a combined 70+ years of experience. That matters when you're building precision rifles that shoot sub-MOA groups from -20°F in the high plains to 115°F in the valley.

Clients include precision rifle competitors, law enforcement, military personnel, and serious shooters who need rifles that perform. One customer reported consistent hits on 12" targets at 1,300 meters with a 300WM build. Three things stand out:

1. Machinist DNA — They don't just bolt parts together. When precision requires specialized jigs or fixtures that don't exist, they machine them. This is restoration-level thinking applied to new builds.

2. Specialization by Person — Each principal brings different expertise. ARs and AKs get attention from two staff members working in concert. Bolt gun builds are staffed discussions about optimal options. This means you're getting specialized knowledge, not assembly line work.

3. No Compromises on Safety — They reserve the right to refuse any job if it would render a firearm unsafe. They don't remove or deactivate safeties for anyone. They won't work on air pistols, paintball guns, or replicas. Test fires use only factory ammo, never handloads or mil-surp.
