Ledyard Sidewinders hosts monthly matches at Ledyard Sportsman Club—one of the fastest-growing shooting sports in America. The club welcomes everyone from complete beginners to SASS state champions, and they actively help new shooters get started.

Each shoot runs 6 fun stages with the following ammunition requirements: - 60 rounds pistol - 60 rounds rifle - Up to 36 rounds shotgun

Safety meeting starts at 9:30 a.m. You'll need eye and ear protection. Bring lunch or snacks—matches run most of the day.

The roster includes junior shooters like Snazzy McGee (SASS Junior Girl National Champion), senior competitors, and multiple SASS Connecticut State Champions. You'll find left-handed shooters, scoped rifles, and shooters running everything from modern setups to period-correct rigs.

The club has produced SASS CT State Champions and attracted shooters from across the Northeast

Location: Whipple Road, Ledyard, CT (off Colonel Ledyard Highway)

The facility is accessible from I-95, I-395, and Route 2. Multiple route options depending on where you're coming from—detailed directions available on their site.
