Full description and what we offer
Chris Jarvis grew up in Winfield hunting small game and target shooting at the family farm. He got his first rifle—a Colt Lightning .22—at age 12 and never looked back. After earning a business degree from Kansas State University and working in the family auto parts business, he decided in 2010 to pursue what actually mattered to him. Chris and his wife Kathy opened Home on the Range Firearms that year.
Two decades later, the shop has become a real fixture in Cowley County. Chris holds his Federal Firearms License and a Class 3 FFL, meaning he can sell suppressors and short-barrel rifles legally. He's a NRA Certified Basic Pistol Instructor and Chief Range Safety Officer. The shop actively promotes NRA events, Friends of the NRA, Women on Target programs, and hunter safety education.
