Baltimore County Game & Fish

Founded in 1936 by Baltimore County sportsmen concerned about wildlife preservation, Baltimore County Game & Fish started as a conservation mission and evolved into a community resource serving both shooters and non-shooters alike.

Training & Education - MD Hunter Safety certification - NRA-certified pistol and rifle courses - Women on Target programs - MD CCW and MD HQL courses - CPR/First Aid and Stop The Bleed instruction

Competition & Events - Rifle and pistol competitions - Shotgun events - Archery competitions - Annual Kid's Fish Rodeo (June, free for neighborhood children—pond stocked, supplies provided)

Facilities & Access - Full shooting range complex - Archery range - Event calendar regularly updated

All BCGF members requesting a range badge must maintain current NRA membership

Beyond shooting, they partner with local organizations like Gunpowder Valley Conservancy and Chesapeake Bay Trust. They've installed Bayscape Gardens and rain gardens on the property to protect the environment—not just talk about it.
