Full description and what we offer
Lee Sportsmen's Association has been the backbone of Berkshire County shooting sports since 1912. This non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization operates one of Western Massachusetts' most complete shooting facilities on a sprawling 135-acre campus.
They run NRA Basic Pistol Courses, Massachusetts Division of Fisheries & Wildlife Hunter Education certification, and Skeet & Trap instruction. Classes are offered one-on-one and in groups—the "learn at your own pace" model keeps people coming back.
This is where LSA stands out. They sponsor:
"Thank you for investing in our children! This was the best run program we have ever been involved in." — Amber P., parent
LSA hosts local USPSA matches and steel shoots that attract world-class competitors. They also run an annual Steak Shoot & Pheasant Fundraising Dinner (proceeds fund their MassWildlife-sponsored pheasant raising program—they release birds each fall in public hunting areas).
Over 500 members strong. Annual membership renewal is $20. The club operates with volunteer labor and funds specific facility improvements and program expansion each year. They've installed two AEDs on the property—upstairs in the Main Clubhouse and in the Skeet House.
