Founded November 4, 1875, the Massachusetts Rifle Association holds the distinction of being America's oldest active gun club. The organization has hosted pioneers like Harry M. Pope (precision rifle barrel maker), E.E. Partridge (inventor of Partridge sights), and author Corbin Gould—all early members who tested their shooting theories at MRA facilities.
From 30 Civil War veterans with horse-drawn carriages to over 1,000 members today, MRA has maintained its focus on safety, education, discipline, and competition.
Members enjoy: - 24-hour key FOB access to two indoor ranges (50 and 75 feet) - 100 and 200 yard rifle ranges - 50 yard rifle/pistol range - 30 foot pistol range - Trap field - Sporting clays field - Archery range

Visit Sunday mornings 9am–12pm or Wednesday evenings 6pm–8pm for tours and membership applications.
