G I Loan Shop

G.I. Loan Shop started as a pawn operation and evolved into a full firearms destination. Darlo Beazley, the owner, attended gunsmithing school before buying the shop—turning a family interest in firearms into a legitimate business with gunsmith capabilities on-site.

This is genuinely a family operation. Darlo's father Joy was the firearms enthusiast who sparked the idea. His mother Marietta stays active in the business. Son Jon teaches the concealed-carry classes. Daughter Jill works the counter. That's four generations of Beazleys running the place.

• •Hornady Headquarters Connection: Because Hornady Manufacturing is headquartered in Grand Island—literally down the street—G.I. Loan stocks deep into Hornady products. They call themselves "your source for all things Hornady."

• •Accessories & Gear: Gun cases, hunting knives, targets, target throwers, paintball equipment.

• •Class III Suppressors: Legal in Nebraska. They stock them and can explain the process.

• •Firearm Transfers: FFLs on staff for transfers from online purchases
