Location details and information
Shooting Range Park is Albuquerque's publicly operated facility managed by the City's Open Space Division. It provides a safe, legal alternative to shooting on public lands—keeping shooters off mesas and vacant areas while serving residents and visitors alike.
The range offers multiple shooting disciplines in a scenic setting:
Rifle & Pistol - 10, 25, 50, 100, and 200-yard target distances - Hanging steel targets at 220, 560, and 750 yards - Muzzleloading bays
Clay Sports - 13 skeet ranges - 2 trap ranges - Silhouette range (competition only)
All range staff are qualified National Rifle Association instructors. Youth shooters under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
The range operates on a first-come, first-serve basis during public hours—no reservations allowed. Just show up during business hours, pay the range fee, and get on a bay.
