Location details and information
Burlington Flats Fish and Game has operated since 1964 as a members-only facility on 615 Louie Dickinson Rd. in Edmeston, NY—northwestern Otsego County. The club is open 24/7 to members (except during reserved events), with multiple ranges designed for different disciplines and skill levels.
Indoor 50-Foot Range Heated, lit, and ventilated. Features 10 upper and 6 lower backstops, plus 10 wooden shooting lane stalls (late fall through early spring). Limited to .22 rimfire and standard handgun caliber pistols only—no centerfire rifles, magnums, shotguns, or black powder. All shooting must be from at least 50 feet. Range is under video surveillance.
50/100 Yard Outdoor Range Located near the clubhouse with dedicated shooting benches for rifles, shotguns, handguns, and archery. Open daylight hours, 365 days a year. Features two backstops (50 and 100 yards) so you can also shoot at 25 yards or distances in between. Great for sighting in firearms or teaching new shooters.
300 Yard Known Distance Range Covered shooting line, scoring house, target pit with retractable stands, and positions for 100, 200, and 300-yard shooting. Wind flags included. Currently hosts F-Class matches; has hosted NRA High Power competitions in the past. Range passes over fishing pond—no fishing during active shooting.
Skeet & Trap Fields Full skeet and trap shooting available. These fields take precedence over the 300-yard range per safety protocols.
The club runs seasonal competitive and recreational programs:

2. Mill Road Property – 3.66 acres with Wharton Creek access, roughly 2 miles south of main club. Members-only; open 24/7/365 with no shooting-related closures.
Both require valid NYS fishing licenses and compliance with state regulations. Members must pack out all trash and respect neighboring properties.
All shooting activities require members to read and understand safety rules before using ranges. Video surveillance monitors all facilities.
