Full description and what we offer
Tony Tirico grew up on a family ranch in Eastern Oregon with a rifle in hand. His father gave him his first Remington .22 at age six, and by ten, he was already troubleshooting his own firearms—fixing that same rifle after falling out of a jeep during ground squirrel hunting. He learned to reload centerfire ammunition at twelve and spent decades collecting firearms before formally training as a professional gunsmith.
After twenty years working as a Civil Engineer for the City of Bend (handling water, sewer, street, and airport projects), Tirico enrolled in the American Gunsmithing Institute's Master Gunsmithing and Certified Firearms Appraiser courses. He received his Professional Gunsmithing Master Certificate on January 31, 2020, and his Certified Firearms Appraiser Certificate on March 17, 2020.
Onsite appraisals performed at your home or business using AGI and USPAP standards. All appraisals include photographs and confidential reports archived for a minimum of one year.

Custom Load Development: 8 hours. Tirico fires groups over a chronograph to determine safe, accurate loads. You'll receive muzzle velocity, standard deviation, and complete load specs (bullet, powder, charge, primer, case brand) specific to your firearm.
Reloading Training: $50/hour. Learn equipment selection and safe reloading techniques hands-on.
Tirico cannot reload commercial ammunition (no ammunition manufacturing FFL), but develops custom loads for your testing and personal use.
What Tirico Won't Work On: - Flintlock or percussion cap black powder firearms - Air rifles, air pistols, paintball guns - NFA weapons (unless you're present during repair) - Antique/curio cartridge firearms (unless client approval and feasibility assessed)
