Full description and what we offer
Keystone Shooting Center opened in 2017 to give the Pittsburgh area something different: a customer-focused facility that combines a modern indoor range with a legitimate gun store under one roof. The operation isn't just focused on selling you something and sending you out the door — they've built infrastructure around actually helping people shoot better.
They carry over 500 different new firearms plus a rotating inventory of used guns. Brands include Springfield Armory, Sig Sauer, Walther, Ruger, Smith & Wesson, Glock, Heckler & Koch, and Canik. Whether you're looking for a duty pistol, a competition gun, a .22 trainer, or something in between, they stock current production models across most major platforms.
The rental fleet rotates through different models — Springfield Echelon, Sig P365X Macro, Walther PDP (standard and F-Series for female shooters), Canik SFX Rival, H&K VP9, and rifles like the Springfield M1A.
You don't need a membership to shoot. Walk-ins can rent hearing and eye protection, pick a pistol, and get a lane with no reservation. Pricing is available at the counter.
But if you shoot regularly, their membership structure makes sense:
| Membership | Key Benefits |
|---|---|
| Keystone Blue | Daily one-hour reservations online, discounts on rentals and classes, second-shooter discounts |
| VIP Premium | Priority reservations, free gun rentals, valet lockers, guest passes, access to members lounge and tactical bays with AWD target retrievers and strobe lights |
| Corporate | Five corporate users, monthly guest passes, group experiences |
Military and law enforcement get discounted rates. All memberships are contract-free — you can cancel or upgrade anytime.
They run a structured class program:
Standard handgun rentals run $15 each. The rental selection spans:
Mars, Pennsylvania (northwest of Pittsburgh). Call (412) 357-8000 for hours and current availability.
"Whether you are new to shooting, an experienced shooter or simply want to learn to shoot we are here to help you. Questions and comments are always welcome."
Keystone filled a gap in the Pittsburgh market by treating the range and retail as one integrated operation. Your rental fee goes toward mentorship and training, not just lane time. The membership options aren't gimmicks — they actually give you tools (target retrieval systems, strobes, private bays) that force you to practice better. And the fact that they stock 500+ firearms means walk-ins can often rent something and buy it the same day if it fits.
