Pitcairn-Monroeville Sportsmen's Club (PMSC) operates as a 501(c)(7) nonprofit organization at 505 Mosside Boulevard in North Versailles, Pennsylvania. The club maintains multiple shooting ranges—indoor and outdoor—along with dedicated facilities for trap, skeet, 5-stand, pistol, rifle, and archery sports.
Range Facilities: - Full indoor range with safety officer supervision - Outdoor rifle ranges - Trap and skeet shooting areas - 5-stand course - IDPA/USPSA competition bays (Bays 15A/B, 17, 18, 20) - 3D archery course - Social hall available for private events and banquets
All firearms classes are USCCA-certified and taught by club volunteers with active firearms experience.
Beginner Programs: - Intro to Firearms/Beginner Safety Class (Handguns) — $100 member price, $125 non-member - Classes held Saturdays, 8am–1pm at the combo building and indoor range - Sign up through the PMSC Store
Youth Archery (Free): - Monday nights, two sessions: 6:30–7:30pm and 7:30–8:30pm - Open to the public (class space limited) - No registration fee
Adult Archery: - 3-session courses, 2 classes per session date - March dates: 11th, 18th, 25th - 7:00–8:00pm and 8:00–9:00pm slots - Contact Paul DeVito at (412) 443-9204
IDPA (International Defensive Pistol Association): - Monthly matches in designated bays - Setup begins at 8:00am, sign-in at 10:00am, shooting at 11:00am - 5 stages, single gun registration, typically done by 2:00pm - Online registration and scoring via PracticeScore (search "PMSC IDPA") - All members welcome
USPSA (United States Practical Shooting Association): - Practice every Thursday, 5pm–7pm - Currently practicing indoors
CMP (Civilian Markmanship Program): - Matches held at 9:00am at the rifle range - Open to public and all members - Club provides M1 Carbine, M1 Garand, and AR-15 rentals with ammunition included
PAOFA (Pennsylvania Amateur Outdoor Firearms Association): - Scheduled dates with times 10am–3pm - Main Bay 20 and Bay 19 - All members welcome
Ladies Day/Night: - Indoor range sessions, 6:00–7:30pm - Sign up through PMSC Store
Cost & Duration: - $125 annual dues (Jan–July new applications pay full amount) - $100 initiation fee - Prorated dues for September–December applications ($40, $30, $20, $10 respectively) - $10 gate card fee
Membership Process: 1. Apply online with initiation fee 2. Attend monthly membership meeting (first Wednesday, 6:30pm) 3. Wait for approval email 4. Attend orientation (first Wednesday of following month at 6:00pm) 5. Complete 4-hour work party within first year OR pay $100 opt-out fee
Member Requirements: - Must have a current PMSC sponsor (member 1+ year in good standing) OR go through Membership Committee approval - Must not be convicted of violent crimes or firearm misuse - One-year probation period after acceptance - Cannot support anti-gun legislation or animal rights activist groups
Membership Types: - Primary membership with full voting and office eligibility - Spousal membership (all rights except voting/office) - Junior membership (ages 18 and under)

Monthly membership meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month at 6:30pm in the rental hall (applying members meet at 6:00pm). All scheduled range closures occur on third Sundays for 8am–1pm work parties.
PMSC reserves the right to perform background checks on any applicant or member and may deny or cancel membership based on results.
