Location details and information
East Monongahela Sportsmen's Club operates as a dedicated shooting and fishing venue for members and hosts public events throughout the year. Located in Elizabeth, PA, the club maintains multiple ranges and facilities on groomed grounds designed for year-round recreational shooting and fishing.
Rifle Range: Up to 300-yard capability with wooden benches and a gravel access road (made possible through an NRA grant). The range received significant improvements in 2024-2025.
Pistol Range: Multiple position setup with 30-yard layout. Members participate in weekly pin shoots using steel pins (1,000 fps or less) with 9mm through .44 Magnum open sight straight-wall cartridges. A separate .22 silhouette shoot runs concurrently.
Trap Range: Active league program with a second scoring stand added in 2024. Solar lights installed at trap house entrances. Open to public on Thursday nights.
Archery: 3D course available to members year-round; practice range always accessible. Public 3D shoots held on select Sundays with $10 adult / $5 youth (11-17) / free under 10.
Fishing: Stocked lake reserved for members.

Thursday trap shoots feature an open kitchen with hot food, snacks, and beverages—arrive early to sign up for pistol shoots.
Prospective members must: - Hold current NRA membership (non-negotiable) - Complete application with sponsor (member in good standing) - Provide two references with phone numbers - Be voted in by 2/3 majority at monthly meeting - Pay initiation fee and annual dues after approval
Monthly member meetings held last Wednesday of each month at 7:30 PM—membership cards available there or Thursday trap shoots.

- •Youth Fishing Day: May 3, 2025 (ages 16 and under)
- •Women's Day: September 6, 2025 (pre-registration required)
- •Sportsman's Challenge: September 27, 2025
- •Trap League: January 8 start, $60 league fee with sign-up in clubhouse
2024 upgrades included flagpole repair with solar night lighting, new bathrooms, freezer replacement, sealed/painted porches, and bench refurbishment across all ranges.
