Wolverton Mountain Gun Club operates as a private membership facility in Ariel, Washington. This isn't a commercial range—it's run by and for shooters who want consistent access and a say in how things work.
Shooting Access - Pistol, rifle, and trap shooting bays - Open 9 AM to dusk, 7 days a week - Check the calendar before you go—bays close for scheduled events
Membership Structure - Annual maintenance fee: $100 (due in January) - Membership applications reviewed by the board - Can buy back membership if you need to leave - All transfers require board approval
The club runs more than just open range time:
Always check the calendar before planning a range trip. Individual bays and the full range close regularly for club events and maintenance.
Members elect officers and board directors annually. The club holds a membership meeting every January (January 24th, 2026 at Battle Ground Community Center) with elections and nominations for positions. Monthly board meetings handle day-to-day decisions.
