Wyoming Armory Precision Firearms in Cody, Wyoming does gunsmithing work on everything from flintlock percussion rifles to modern semi-automatics. What they're known for: building custom Winchester 1885 type rifles and modern bolt-action rifles. Same gunsmiths who build the rifles also handle all service work—no farm-out jobs, same attention to detail on a small project as a complete custom build.

Important note: Only works on carbon steel. Stainless, aluminum, and steels finished with DLC, Black Nitride, or Parkerizing won't work. Ruger frames need a 700-800°F heat cycle before hardening.

All gunsmithing pricing subject to change based on the condition of each gun. Prices above are minimums. Return shipping and insurance are added to final invoice. Payment due at completion before delivery. Some projects require 50% deposit upfront.

Email is the best way to reach them—they respond when they can. Once you ship work in, they'll email confirmation, then send an estimate before proceeding. Handguns must ship through FFL or UPS Next Day Air (individuals can't use USPS for handguns). Long guns can ship through USPS or UPS. Credit/debit card payments include 3% transaction fee.
