High Plains Shooting Range

Weld County Fish & Wildlife built this operation from a conservation focus into Colorado's most diverse shooting complex. They own 200 acres eight miles east and one mile south of Ault—actual land, not rented bay space.

Handgun & Rifle: - USPSA, Steel Challenge, ICORE, GSSF matches - Benchrest, High Power, Military Bolt Action - Black Powder divisions

Shotgun: - Trap, Skeet, Sporting Clays, 5 Stand

Other: - 3 Gun competitions - Junior shooting programs - Archery - CCW/handgun safety classes

• •Private club, but flexible: Non-members can visit when accompanied by a member. Many events are open to public participation—check their calendar. New membership encouraged.

• •Range Safety Rules apply at all times. Non-members sign a waiver at the kiosk on entry.
