Montrose Rod & Gun Club (MRGC) is a private shooting club that has been serving the local community for over 70 years. Originally incorporated in 1953, the club has grown into a comprehensive shooting facility with both indoor and outdoor ranges.

- •One rifle range with steel targets at multiple distances (7-400 yards)
- •Two shotgun ranges for trap and skeet
- •Covered shooting benches and berms
MRGC offers diverse shooting experiences including: - Pistol & Rifle: Monthly MRGC Matches with timed competitive events - Shotgun Sports: Regular trap, skeet, and 5-stand shooting - Silhouette Shooting: Varmint silhouette matches at 150-400 meters - Training & Education: Concealed carry courses, CHP renewal courses, and NSSF First Shots ladies clinics - Youth Programs: Structured junior youth programs (ages 10+) focusing on safety and fundamentals - Specialty Events: Clay pigeon shoots, sight-in days, and monthly gun shows

- •Members responsible for cleanup and trash disposal
- •Indoor range closed 1 hour before/after events for setup and takedown
