Founded January 27, 1933, Maryland Rifle Club is the oldest charter member club in the Associated Gun Clubs of Baltimore. What started nearly a century ago has grown into a serious competitive shooting organization while staying true to their original mission: safe enjoyment of the shooting sports.

These unique events trace back to 1919 (officially recognized in 1936) as the Infantry Trophy Match. The "Rattle Battle" name comes from the rapid-fire cadence. Here's how it works:
Competitors should bring at least 70 rounds and can use 20 or 30-round magazines. Five sighting shots allowed per silhouette type.
