Target audience for this mid-week, mid-day class is to accommodate those people who work from home and can flex their hours, people who are retired and have a few hours free during the week, and those who persons who live far away and would otherwise not be able to attend in person. Otherwise, there are several fly-tying opportunities throughout the area for fly ting classes in person on the weekends and evenings.
Sessions are open to members and guests from CWA (Chesapeake Women Anglers), IWLAR (Izaak Walton League of America Rockville Chapter), and SVTU (Seneca Valley Trout Unlimited). Tiers are encouraged to bring your own vices and material however some materials and tools will be available for 'In-Person" sessions. At the end of each session, announcements will be made as to what fly will be tied and what materials will be needed for the next month's session. Anyone can just "sit in" to observe as well or tie along with whatever materials you have. All skill levels welcome.
