Twin Lake Gun Club

Twin Lake Gun Club has been the backbone of West Michigan shooting sports since 1954. This member-run facility sits on 137 acres and operates as a private club—no walk-ins, but applications are being accepted for new members.

The facility is built for serious shooters:

• •Rifle ranges: 50, 100, and 200-yard outdoor ranges with covered benches
• •Pistol: Indoor range (caliber-limited), outdoor covered pistol bays
• •Shotgun: Trap and skeet range, sporting clays range
• •Archery: Elevated stand and bow hunting targets

All shooting areas feature covered benches and protection from the weather.

TLGC members compete in organized leagues and shoots:

• •Probationary Members start with gate code access during regular shooting times and member events. You can bring immediate family to shoot under your supervision as range officer. No non-members allowed during probation.

• •Full Members (after 1 year in good standing) unlock more:
• •Clubhouse key access
• •Use of club equipment (throwers, mowers, golf cart)
• •Ability to schedule and run events
• •Authority to supervise guests and family

The application process is straightforward but requires several steps:

1. Fill the application and waiver — both sides must be signed with a witness 2. Provide State ID — a background check will be performed 3. Take the range safety course — offered Sundays 9am-1pm or Tuesdays after 4:30pm 4. Get a sponsor — an active TLGC member who verifies your course completion and documentation 5. Submit with fees — $20 application fee plus first-year dues 6. Attend the monthly meeting — your application goes to a member vote

New members must help at 2 events and attend 2 membership meetings in their first year.

• •Regular member: $60/year (plus $3 online fee)
• •Senior member (65+): $40/year (plus $3 online fee)
• •Medical disability: $20 discount available with officer approval
• •Dues deadline: January 1 (grace period through January 15, $10 late fee applies after)
• •Online payment fee: $3 per transaction
