LPR Gunsmithing has been building fine rifles since 1984. Owner Larry Racine is a former tool and die maker who turned his gunsmithing passion into a full-time operation in North Swanzey, New Hampshire. He's earned serious credentials: five-time New Hampshire State High Power Rifle Champion, member of the 1992 and 1999 US Palma Teams, and NRA High Master classifications in High Power Rifle, Midrange Prone, and Long Range Prone.
"Barrel jobs take top priority" - That's not marketing. It's the reality. Larry knows how hard it is to get a barrel replaced in a reasonable timeframe, so he makes it happen first.

Built on M12 single-shot actions (308 Winchester length). Complete overhaul includes:
- •30" Krieger stainless steel barrel (replaces factory)
- •Action tuning with lapped lugs
- •Bedding with Bisonite and steel pillars
- •Honed trigger for crisp let-off
- •Laminated stock modifications:
- •Adjustable cheek piece (installed)
- •Hand-stop rail (installed)
- •Vent holes under barrel for cooling
- •Optional adjustable butt plate (additional cost)
All rifles meet US and international Palma regulations. No sights included.
Also built on M12 single-shot stainless actions. Same quality overhaul with:
- •Krieger stainless barrel (length varies by customer need)
- •Action tuning and lapped lugs
- •Bisonite and steel pillar bedding
- •Sharp trigger work
- •Stock work: Adjustable cheek piece, vent holes, optional butt plate
Option to build with Savage small port target actions (three action screws instead of two, right bolt/right port configuration).
New Barrel Installation - Krieger, Brux, Douglas Stainless Steel, and Chro-Moly options - Pre-contoured barrel fitting and polishing - 30" Palma stainless steel chambering and fitting - Standard contours 26"-30" - Special bore, groove, or twist orders available (extended lead times) - Large cartridge cases (RUM, .338 Lapua, .50 cal) have additional costs
Special Breech Cuts - Bolt recess (Remington 700, etc.) - Extractor cuts (Remington 37, Winchester 52, etc.) - Single-shot extractor cuts (Ruger No. 1, etc.)
Re-Chambering - Barrel set back, rechambered, retimed - Chamber, thread, and fit customer barrels - Fit chambered and threaded barrels
