Saugerties Fish & Game Club has operated continuously since 1884—making it one of New York State's oldest active sportsmen's clubs. Founded just 19 years after the Civil War ended, the club grew from a core of industrialists, shop owners, attorneys, doctors, and craftsmen who recognized the need for a community shooting facility.
2024 marks the club's 140th anniversary year.
The club sits on nearly 100 acres off Fish Creek Road in the town of Saugerties, Ulster County. The facilities are built for serious shooters:

Youth Fishing Tournament held each May at Blue Mountain Reservoir. Ages 15 and under. Registration 8:00 AM, fishing 9:00 AM–Noon. Free with refreshments provided.

Members only—the ranges are not available for public rental. However, the club regularly hosts public events open to non-members. Check the club's Facebook page (Saugerties Fish & Game Club) for a current schedule of public participation opportunities.
Membership dues are due January 1st each year. Late fees apply if not postmarked by January 1st. Membership expires February 1st if full payment (including any late fees) hasn't been received.
