Location details and information
Greene Rod & Gun Club operates rifle and pistol ranges at 20, 25, 30, 50, 100, 300, and 500 yards. The 500-yard range was dedicated to former club president Nick Freije in September 2021 and serves precision long-range shooters. The club also runs dedicated skeet and trap ranges with Friday night shoots at 6pm and Sunday morning skeet at 9am.
Member-owned operation — Greene Rod & Gun Club is run by and for its members, with a board elected annually and monthly member meetings on the third Thursday of each month.
The club hosts International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) matches on the second and third Saturday of each month, with registration starting at 9am and shooting typically done by 1:30pm. Colt Firearms donated a 6-inch Blued Python for the 2025 IDPA matches. Shooters can register through PractiScore.
IDPA Safety Officer training is available for members with active IDPA membership of at least 6 months.

Pistol ranges close during skeet shooting due to falling shot pellets. See club rules on eye and skin protection.
Greene Rod & Gun regularly hosts law enforcement and security training:
Women on Target (WOT) and "A Girl and a Gun" shooting clinics are offered periodically.
Membership costs $40/year. Members must display their membership card on a lanyard while on club property. All shooters (members and guests) must sign a waiver/release/hold harmless agreement before shooting.

Greene Rod & Gun Club is located in Greene, Chenango County, New York. The club is gated and members access it 24/7 with their combination lock code (found on membership card). Off-hours access requires locking yourself inside to prevent trespassing.
