Full description and what we offer
Bucks County Fish & Game Association started in 1894, making it one of Pennsylvania's longest-running sportsmen's clubs. The Civil War and World War I both used the facility for marksmanship certification. Today it operates as a members-only club on 37 acres just outside Doylestown, offering shooting sports, archery, fishing, and youth development programs.
The club maintains multiple ranges and disciplines:
Clay Sports - Trap shooting - Skeet shooting - 5-stand sporting clays - Saturday & Sunday: 11:00 AM–3:00 PM - Tuesday: 11:00 AM–3:00 PM
Rifle Programs - Youth Basic Rifle (ages 10–18, Friday 6:00–7:30 PM) - Indoor shooting range with four rifle positions, climate-controlled - NRA qualification courses available - CMP/Combat/OST/Swiss Match competitions
Archery - Partnership with Shooting Star Archery Academy - Explorer Archery (ages 6–17, progressive instruction) - JOAD (Junior Olympic Archery Development) - S3DA (Scholastic 3-D Archery) - Adult league (ages 18+) - 3-D course with challenging outdoor setup - Monday family shoots: 6:00–7:30 PM (ages 6+)
Fishing - Access to Neshaminy Creek along club grounds
Youth Programs - Black powder shooting - Hunter/Trapper education - Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) - Indoor pistol instruction - Annual Youth Field Day (record-breaking attendance)
Membership requires three steps:
1. Fill out application – Download from website 2. Attend Range Safety Orientation – Second Saturday each month at 9:00 AM (arrive 30 minutes early). Bring completed application, valid Concealed Carry Permit or background check, and payment (check or cash). Becomes provisional member with card issued same day. 3. Attend General Membership Meeting – Within 6 months of becoming provisional member. Held fourth Thursday of each month at 8:30 PM (third Thursday in November). Vote in for full membership.
One-time Capitol Expenses fee: $60.00 for membership year 2026

The Basic Rifle program focuses on safety and marksmanship fundamentals:
All shooters can progress through 16 NRA qualification levels from Pro-Marksman to Distinguished Expert. Hearing protection required for all shooters and guests.
Shooting Star Archery Academy runs progressive programs:
Executive Committee led by President Charlie Ziccardi, with dedicated volunteer board members managing ranges, training, youth programs, and club operations.
