Hellertown Sportsmen's Association has operated continuously for nearly 80 years as a member-driven shooting club in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania. Located at 1793 Meadows Road—just three miles south of I-78 Exit 67—the facility sits in a former stone quarry that provides natural backstops for all outdoor ranges.
This is a private, members-only club. Non-members cannot use facilities except during scheduled public events.
Indoor Range - Modern 1990-built facility with electronically controlled turning targets - Exceptional exhaust and heating system - Accommodates police training, SWAT teams, and local law enforcement - Pistol-focused with 25-yard outdoor macadam range
Rifle Range - Three benches with roof coverage - 50-yard and 100-yard backstops - All shooting from bench position only - Large horizontal barriers above shooting lanes prevent stray shots

Plate Shoot - First and third Thursday, 7:00 PM - 3-inch self-healing targets at 25 feet - .22 caliber pistol format - $8.00 per person - Two six-round stages from different table positions

Pre-Season Practice - Mondays 9 AM-noon (fall/spring) - Wednesdays October-December - $7.00 fee for open shooting

Outdoor Archery - Bales and compound target for member practice - Available 9 AM-9 PM daily - Youth under 16 must be supervised by adult member
Saucon Creek - 17-Mile Trout Stream
The club maintains direct access to Saucon Creek, a spring-fed, cold-water tributary of the Lehigh River. The creek flows directly past HSA grounds with excellent brown trout populations.
The Saucon Creek was rehabilitated by HSA volunteers in the 1980s with stream deflectors that increased oxygen content. Today it ranks as an excellent trout fishery managed in coordination with PA Fish and Boat Commission.

Private instructors licensed by Smith & Wesson and NRA have training available. HSA members can attend NRA courses (Basics of Pistol Shooting, etc.) at Perkiomen Sportsmen's Association at member rates.
All ranges are members-only unless a scheduled public event is posted on the property, calendar, or newsletter.
