Cajun Arms is a firearms training facility and retail operation based in West Chester, PA, established in 2011. They teach over 40 classes annually, structured from beginner through advanced levels across three primary disciplines: handgun, rifle, and shotgun.

Their handgun curriculum starts with Defensive Carry 0.5 (beginner) and progresses through 8 advanced levels, including:

Rifle classes include Intro to AR15, Defensive Carbine 1.0-3.0, mid-range rifle, room clearing & teamwork, low light defensive rifle, vehicle defense, and 3-gun.

Shotgun training covers Defensive Shotgun 1.0 with all-levels accessibility.

Private firearms lessons available as one-on-one, couples/friends, and family lessons. Classes held at Cajun Arms in Elverson, PA or your local range.

Private lessons: 2 hours long, 50% deposit required to book. New students are advised to meet at their residence or Cajun Arms for preliminary safety training before range work. Family lessons conducted at your home using laser guns.

Corporate & Team Events: Half-day or full-day private events perfect for corporate outings and celebrations.

House of Worship Security Training: They work with all faiths to train security teams in threat assessment and elimination in crowded environments. Training uses crowded scenarios and shoot/don't shoot drills with laser guns. Groups encouraged to practice bi-weekly and qualify twice yearly.

Jim Benoit (Owner & Lead Firearms Instructor) founded Cajun Arms in 2011. He's an avid hunter, shooter, and outdoorsman who also serves as a Township Supervisor and Police Commissioner in Chester County, PA. His background includes Israeli martial arts training and extensive tactical firearms education.

Training Background: Army Marksmanship Training (Fort Benning, GA, 2007), Haganah F.I.G.H.T. (Israeli hand-to-hand combat) ongoing since 2010, Israeli bladed weapons training.

Benoit's teaching philosophy emphasizes that no single method works for everyone. He focuses on technique AND understanding why it's effective for each individual student.
