Delaware County Field and Stream

Delaware County Field & Stream Association has been the hub for outdoor sports in the region since 1939. Today, the club operates 10 unique shooting ranges on 65 acres in Brookhaven, serving a membership base of over 4,000 people.

Whether you shoot rifles, pistols, shotguns, or bows, DCFS&S has the range for it:

• •Archery Range — Full setup for bow shooting
• •Black Powder Range — For traditional firearms enthusiasts
• •High Power Range — Precision rifle shooting
• •Rimfire Rifle Range — .22 and small-caliber rifles
• •Pistol Range — Handgun shooting (no magnums before noon on Sundays)
• •Airgun Range — Air rifles and pellet guns
• •Trap Range — Single clay target shooting
• •5-Stand Range — Semi-sporting clay format
• •Skeet Range — Olympic-style clay shooting with summer/winter schedule variations
• •Table Trap Range — Manual clay machines, color-coded for speed (yellow/slow, blue/medium, red/fast). Two-person operation required.

Membership applications are in-person only at the club office. New members complete a $40 non-refundable application fee, provide photo ID and driver's license copy, answer a full police record disclosure, and require three endorsements (two current members, one club officer).

• •Two required orientations: All new members take general orientation (2.5 hours, Sundays at 12:15 PM) plus pistol-range specific orientation before getting permanent membership. Temporary card issued after general orientation — access to all ranges except pistol until full completion.

Grounds Hours - Mon-Fri: 8:00 AM — Sunset + 30 minutes - Sat-Sun: 7:30 AM — Sunset + 30 minutes - Open 364 days/year (closed Good Friday only, weather permitting)

Office Hours - Mon-Fri: 10:00 AM — 4:00 PM - Sat-Sun: 9:00 AM — 4:00 PM - Closed on Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Day

Snack Bar Hours - Mon, Tues, Fri: 8:00 AM — 2:00 PM - Wed-Thurs: Closed - Sat-Sun: 7:00 AM — 2:30 PM

• •Table Trap Requirements: Shotguns only (no pistol-grip unless full stock equipped). Shot sizes limited to #8, #8½, or #9. Field loads only — no hunting or magnum loads. Two-person minimum per station. 30-minute time limit per group or 50 shots per person. Damascus/twist barrels prohibited unless black powder used.

• •Pistol Range: No magnum ammunition before 12 noon on Sundays.

• •Skeet Range: Winter hours (Nov 2 – Apr 29) differ from summer schedule. Doubles-only events on select Fridays.

DCFS&S runs annual events including: - Hunter Education courses - National Hunting & Fishing Day - Youth Pheasant Hunt - Youth Fishing Events - Junior Field Day - Scouting Support programs - Conservation activities

The club maintains a board of elected directors, with annual elections each November.

• •Guns must be cased or unloaded with actions open until at firing line
• •Eye and ear protection required
• •All members must maintain current email on file
• •Guest privileges only for adults with permanent membership cards
• •Limited number of new members accepted each month (applications reviewed by Executive Committee on 4th Wednesday)
