Location details and information

Delaware County Field & Stream Association was founded in 1939 to promote conservation, hunting, and fishing. Today it operates as one of Eastern Pennsylvania's most comprehensive shooting sports venues, with over 4,000 members using 10 unique ranges across 65 acres in Brookhaven.

The club maintains separate ranges for each shooting discipline, each with its own Chief Range Officer:

  • •Archery Range — John McCann oversees this daily operation
  • •Black Powder Range — Traditional shooting with Bill MacCain Jr. and Tom Neill
  • •High Power Rifle Range — Jay Brower manages precision rifle shooting
  • •Rimfire Rifle Range — George Riley's range for .22 and rimfire shooters
  • •Pistol Range — Steve Thomer runs this daily (no magnums before noon on Sundays)
  • •Airgun Range — Mark King handles air rifle and pellet gun shooting
  • •Trap Range — Dave Berman oversees clay bird shooting
  • •5-Stand Range — Nick Maningas runs this shotgun discipline
  • •Skeet Range — Skip Ford manages year-round skeet with winter/summer hour variations
  • •Table Trap Range — Tom Hennessy's beginner-friendly manual clay bird range

Table Trap is especially popular with beginners, bird hunters, and young shooters. The club furnishes 8 tabletop manual machines with color-coded springs (yellow = slow, blue = medium, red = fast).
