Lowcountry Guns and Range operates a 10-lane indoor shooting facility designed for year-round use with 75-foot rifle-rated lanes separated by concrete walls (5 bays per side). The range is fully climate-controlled, open to the public, and accepts walk-ins with no reservation required. Out-of-state shooters welcome—just bring a valid photo ID.

Open 7 days a week: Mon–Sat 10am–6pm (7pm Fridays) | Sun 12pm–6pm | $22 per person per visit with no time limit

Handguns & Rifles: All centerfire handguns permitted. Rifles must be bench-rested (supported by bipod or sandbag) with control maintained—no rapid fire. Maximum caliber is .30-06. Drawing from a holster is prohibited during general range use.

Shotguns: Only slugs allowed; buckshot and birdshot prohibited due to trap ricochet.

Machine Guns & Suppressors: Class III dealer on-site. Personal machine guns and binary triggers not permitted. Suppressors allowed with valid tax stamp proof.

Ammunition: Brass-cased, lead-core only. Prohibited: armor-piercing, steel core, tracer, explosive, or green-tip rounds. Staff inspect all ammo before entry.

Range Safety Officers patrol the floor at all times with zero tolerance for unsafe handling. First-time shooters receive a mandatory safety briefing before hitting the lanes. The facility enforces strict rules:

  • Firearms must be unloaded and cased until at the firing bay
  • Magazines loaded only at your station, ready to fire
  • Eye and ear protection complimentary and mandatory
  • Closed-toe shoes and crew-neck shirts required (no sleeveless tops)
  • No alcohol or impaired behavior

50+ rental guns available, including:

  • Handguns ($15–$25): Glocks, Sig Sauers, M&Ps, Beretta PX4, FN Five-Seven, Dan Wesson 1911s, Kimber Tactical, Canik TP9 series
  • Suppressors ($25 rental): Removable cans on select pistols
  • Long Guns ($20): Ruger 10/22, AR-15s, lever-action .22s, bolt-action rifles
  • Revolvers: S&W Models 617, 686, 65 (.357 Mag), Taurus Judge
  • Machine Guns ($45): Colt M16 A2, H&K MP5 A2, Kriss Vector SMG (.45 ACP)

Military Discount: Active military, law enforcement, and first responders shoot unlimited for $17.

Full retail counter carries Glocks, FN, Smith & Wesson, AR-15s, hunting rifles, shotguns, suppressors, pre-owned firearms, holsters, optics, and ammunition (.380, .40 S&W, .45 ACP, .223/5.56, .22 LR, standard hunting rounds). In-house FFL processes firearm transfers.

Lowcountry hosts International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) matches the second Thursday of each month at 5:30 pm. IDPA emphasizes practical self-defense skills, accuracy under pressure, and realistic scenarios—not pure speed competition.

Who Can Compete? Beginners welcome. All equipment needed: centerfire handgun (9mm+), strong-side holster, 3 magazines, 100–150 rounds, eye/ear protection (provided if needed).

What to Expect: Multiple stages simulating defensive situations. Shooters engage targets under Safety Officer supervision. New shooters receive briefings and guidance—zero pressure.
