Gun Vault

Established in 2012, Gun Vault sits downtown in Edgemont, South Dakota—the small community at the base of the beautiful Black Hills in the state's southwestern corner. They're more than just a retail shop; they're a complete firearms resource for the region.

Gun Vault stocks everything from ammunition to complete rifles. Their current inventory includes:

• •Long Guns: Winchester XPR rifles, Mossberg shotguns (930 semi-auto 12ga, MVP bolt rifles), Remington pump guns and semi-autos, Benelli Nova shotguns, AR-platform rifles including Kinetic Development Group builds and Yankee Hill Machine configurations, plus vintage collectibles like pre-war Winchester Model 70s and JC Higgins shotguns from the 1940s.

• •Handguns: Springfield Armory models (XDM, Saint Victor pistols), Smith & Wesson M&P, Ruger (SR-22, Blackhawk), Colt 1911s, Taurus, and Para Ordinance firearms. They ship nationwide (except MA, NY, NJ, CA, CT, Chicago, and DC).

• •AR Parts & Accessories: Blue and red anodized AR-15 parts, Anderson lowers ($55 each), scope mounts (Midwest Industries AK mounts), and custom build components.

• •Ammunition: 1000-round cases of 9mm 115gr FMJ ($280), PPU 30 Carbine, CCI .22lr shotshell, Remington .410 Express, and more. Note: ammo ships in-store only via USPS restrictions.

• •Reloading Supplies: Full reloading section with RCBS dies and equipment.

The real difference here is the in-house gunsmith. Over 30 years of experience means he works on everything—antique firearms, modern tactical builds, NFA items, major repairs, and custom projects. No waiting weeks at an outsider; the gunsmith is here daily.

Gun Vault also stocks fishing equipment, bait, and sporting goods—genuinely local.

They've added a firearms simulator and archery range in the building next door, plus a class/meeting room for rent. Classes offered include handgun, reloading, survival, and more.
