The park runs courses for sporting clays, trap, skeet, and 5-stand. An archery range and a catch-and-release fishing pond are also on the property. The club runs a youth shooting program and organizes seasonal leagues built around its shotgun disciplines.
Powder Creek hosts NSCA and NSSA-sanctioned shooting events, with its tournaments listed through ScoreChaser. The club reports around 10,000 unique visitors and roughly 3 million clay targets thrown each year, placing it among the higher-volume shotgun clubs in the country. It also hosts corporate and group outings.
Shotguns with a pistol grip must have a stock, and barrels must run at least 24 inches; AR-platform shotguns are not allowed. Only target-load ammunition in 7.5, 8, or 9 shot is permitted.
