Founded in 1943 as a Minuteman volunteer organization during World War II, Garrison Rifle & Revolver Club pivoted after the war to build what became the Associated Gun Clubs of Baltimore range. Today, the club operates with over 300 members focused on recreational shooting, competitive events, and marksmanship training.
Club membership ($50 first year, $20 annual renewal) includes full access to the AGC range at 11518 Marriottsville Road:

The club actively runs organized programs in:
Membership eligibility: US citizens or legal residents, 18 years or older. Prospective members can join at scheduled dates throughout the year.
Garrison is a charter member of Associated Gun Clubs of Baltimore (founded 1944), holds NRA club affiliation (#C2875), and participates in the Civilian Marksmanship Program (#071107). The club also maintains connections with the Maryland State Rifle & Pistol Association.
The organization emphasizes firearm safety education, marksmanship training, and the principles of good sportsmanship—honesty, fellowship, self-discipline, and team play. Monthly meetings and a regular newsletter keep members informed of events and range updates.
