Elk River Sportsman's Club is a private shooting sports facility with a rich history dating back to 1946. Originally established as the St. Louis Park Sportsman's Club, it relocated to its current 304.71-acre property in Elk River, Minnesota in 1962 and was renamed in 1997.
The club offers one of the most comprehensive collections of shooting ranges in the region:
- •Rifle Ranges: 25/50 yard range, 100 yard range, and a Known Distance (KD) range extending to 600 yards with distances at 100, 200, 300, 400, and 600 yards
- •Pistol Range: Dedicated facility for handgun shooting
- •Shotgun Ranges: Trap and skeet shooting facilities
- •Archery: Both indoor archery and 3D archery courses
- •Small Bore & Air Rifle Range: Indoor facility for .22 caliber and air rifle shooting
- •Camping: On-ground camping available for members
Elk River Sportsman's Club operates as a private membership club with limited annual membership openings. While the club is member-exclusive, it does host public events throughout the year, including:
- •Public rifle sight-in days each fall
- •Select public shooting events and competitions
