Elk River Sportsman's Club

Elk River Sportsman's Club is a private shooting sports facility with a rich history dating back to 1946. Originally established as the St. Louis Park Sportsman's Club, it relocated to its current 304.71-acre property in Elk River, Minnesota in 1962 and was renamed in 1997.

The club offers one of the most comprehensive collections of shooting ranges in the region:

• •Rifle Ranges: 25/50 yard range, 100 yard range, and a Known Distance (KD) range extending to 600 yards with distances at 100, 200, 300, 400, and 600 yards
• •Pistol Range: Dedicated facility for handgun shooting
• •Shotgun Ranges: Trap and skeet shooting facilities
• •Archery: Both indoor archery and 3D archery courses
• •Small Bore & Air Rifle Range: Indoor facility for .22 caliber and air rifle shooting
• •Camping: On-ground camping available for members

Elk River Sportsman's Club operates as a private membership club with limited annual membership openings. While the club is member-exclusive, it does host public events throughout the year, including:

• •Public rifle sight-in days each fall
• •Select public shooting events and competitions

Prospective members are encouraged to attend public events and speak with current members to learn more about membership opportunities.

The club hosts organized shooting leagues and KD match competitions for members, providing opportunities for shooters to develop skills and compete in a supportive environment.
