Strategic Edge Gun Range operates as a hybrid facility: they run professional training and range services for U.S. Military, federal agencies, and law enforcement, but they also maintain a dedicated members-only shooting facility near Chapel Hill, Tennessee.
The range itself is purpose-built for real shooting conditions. Members get:
Unlike indoor ranges, their outdoor setup means members can practice draw strokes, tactical movement, and unconventional shooting positions—activities prohibited at most commercial facilities.
Members and their guests access the range from sunrise to sunset, 7 days a week (closed for maintenance, events, classes, or matches—check calendar). All applicants undergo criminal and civil background checks plus mandatory safety training before approval. You get a custom ID card and gate/building code.
Fair warning: Wait times for new membership can run 2 months to 1 year. Strategic Edge maintains a waiting list—sign up early if you're interested.
Strategic Edge offers both online videos and in-person classroom/range courses. Most are free to members; some have fees.
